TEATRO REAL vs. TEATRE LICEU

Comparasion between the Teatro Real of Madrid and the Teatre Liceu of Barcelona:

They are quite similar but they have different things.
  • There's more brightness in the Liceu than in the Real because of the golden in the decorations. The lamps are huge and modern.
  • The sits look alike because they are both red velvet. The only difference is that the Liceu sits are more extravagant.
  • The Teatre Liceu counts of six floors and 2292 sits. The Teatro Real has 3 floors and a capacity of 1630 with normal moat. They also have differen rooms , for example the mirrors room in the Liceu and oher rooms in the Teatr Real.
  • The prints of the theatre in Barcelona are in 3D and are bigger and aren't the same. However the prints in the other theatre are less big and are all equal.
  • The Liceu was inaugurated the 4th April of 1847 and the other one on the 19th November of 1850. Three years later.
  • Moreover, the Liceu was designed by Miquel Garriga i Roca, Josep Oriol Mestres and Ignasi Solà-Morales and the Real by the architects: Antonio López Aguado, Custodio Teodoro Moreno and Francisco Cabezuelo.
  • The style of the Barcelona theatre is eclecticism the same as in The Madrid one where there's also a neoclassical architectural.
